Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, attended the 95th anniversary celebrations of Don State Technical University (DSTU) held in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, as the guest of honor. Following the event, a general cooperation protocol aimed at strengthening collaboration between the two universities in the fields of education, research, and academia was signed.
The protocol, signed by our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik and Don State Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Besarion Meskhi, encompasses mutual cooperation in numerous areas, including the development of joint research projects, the promotion of student and academic staff exchange programs, the sharing of scientific publications, and collaborative participation in international academic events.
With this protocol, the two universities aim to take joint steps that will enhance scientific productivity, strengthen knowledge sharing, and establish a more active presence within international academic networks.
Speaking at the ceremony, which was attended by representatives from more than 10 universities from various countries, our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik highlighted the long-standing history of Don State Technical University and its scientific contributions at the international level. He stated, “This cooperation protocol will lay the foundation for sustainable academic interaction between our universities and will make a significant contribution to scientific productivity.”
