Training sessions organized for students selected for our university’s İŞKUR Youth Program have begun under the coordination of the Career Center. The first session, held in the Halil Cin Conference Hall at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, was led by Lecturer Halil Çelik, a Class A occupational health and safety specialist, on the topic of “Occupational Health and Safety Services.”
In addition to the students accepted into the program, our University’s Secretary General Kamil Gök, Deputy Secretary General İrfan Çelik, and Career Center Director Lecturer Dr. Resul Çelik also participated in the training sessions.
Training sessions developed as part of a program aimed at supporting our students’ professional development will continue to be held in various fields. In addition to Occupational Health and Safety Training, these include “Substance Abuse Prevention Training, Business Ethics, Motivation and Stress Management Training, Interpersonal Relationships and Effective Communication Training, Financial Literacy Training, Training on the İŞKUR Youth Program, Responsible Use of the Internet and Social Media for Students, and International Student Mobility.”
These training programs are of great importance in helping our students prepare for their professional careers and enhance their employability. The goal of these mandatory training programs is to develop students’ knowledge and skills.
