We’ve Secured Our Spot at the Central Anatolia Career Fair (İKAF’25)!

As Konya Technical University, one of the partners of the Central Anatolia Career Fair (İKAF’25), we participated in the event with projects by our students and faculty members.

The Central Anatolia Career Fair (İKAF’25), organized under the coordination of the Presidential Office of Human Resources, was held this year in Konya, hosted by Selçuk University. The event, which brought together representatives from the public and private sectors, offered young people planning their careers the opportunity to gain valuable experience that will guide their professional development.

The fair, in which our university participated under the leadership of the Career Center, received support from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Architecture and Design, the Vocational School of Technical Sciences, the Directorate of Health, Culture, and Sports, the Student Clubs Coordination Office, and the Corporate Communications Coordination Office.

At the fair held on February 20–21 at the Selçuklu Congress Center, our university’s booth featured student projects that won awards at TEKNOFEST 2024. Faculty members and students from the Department of Textiles, Apparel, Footwear, and Leather, as well as the Jewelry and Accessories Design program in the Department of Fine Arts at the School of Technical Sciences, had the opportunity to showcase their meticulously crafted designs and products.

Approximately 50 students from our student clubs—including the Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing Club (YAZGİT), the Software Development Club (YGT), and the Motorsports Club (MOST)—were among the clubs that volunteered to support the fair. In addition, the Sancaktar Team had the opportunity to present their award-winning projects to visitors over the course of two days.

On the final day of the event, Dr. Mehmet Balcı, Assistant Director of the School of Technical Sciences, moderated the panel titled “Work and People in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” organized with Atiker Software as the Gold Sponsor. At the conclusion of the panel, during which insights were shared to guide young people on their career journeys, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, presented plaques to the panelists.
