The Erasmus+ Programme is a grant scheme of the European Union covering the fields of education, youth, and sport. Türkiye has been participating in the programme since 2004. It has been referred to as Erasmus+ since the 2014–2020 period, and the 2021–2027 Programme period is currently in progress. The Erasmus+ Programme aims to equip individuals—regardless of age or educational background—with new skills, enhance their personal development, and increase their employment opportunuties. Our university signs grant agreements with the Turkish National Agency, and announcements for mobilities are made accordingly.
What is a Contract Period?
The Contract Period differs from the Academic Year and lasts for two years. The ongoing 2024 Contract Period will end on 31 July 2026, while the 2025 Contract Period will end on 31 July 2027.
What types of mobility activities are carried out within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme?
Student mobilities can be carried out in the form of study mobility, traineeship mobility, doctoral mobility, and blended mobility.
Staff mobilities can be carried out in the form of training mobility and teaching mobility.
