This guide has been prepared to inform our students about which unit they should apply to for specific matters.

You are required to submit your applications either in person or via your KTÜN email account in order for them to be considered official. Applications made through mobile phone, SMS, WhatsApp, etc. will not be taken into consideration. An email account with the extension @ktun.edu.tr has been assigned to each of our students.

Course Registration
Course registrations are carried out by the student through the obs.ktun.edu.tr system within the dates specified in the academic calendar, in accordance with the current regulations, curriculum, and prerequisite table. In case you encounter any issues related to course registration, you should first contact your advisor. For issues that cannot be resolved by your advisor, submit an advisor-approved petition to the Department Secretariat to be forwarded to the Student Affairs Office. No personnel other than the student’s advisor and the Student Affairs Office are authorized to perform or modify course registrations.
Elective Course Quotas
Elective course quotas are determined automatically by the system.
Tuition Fee Procedures
Tuition fee procedures are not available in the system of student advisors. The only unit authorized to carry out tuition fee procedures is the Student Affairs Office.
lms.ktun.edu.tr Distance Education System
For technical issues such as access to the distance education system or courses not appearing, please send an email to uzaktanmakine@ktun.edu.tr. Matters such as course delivery, implementation of assignments and exams, grading, and procedures related to the OBS system are outside the responsibility of the Distance Education Coordinators.

Graduation Application
Before submitting a graduation application through the OBS system, any excess courses (such as different courses taken from the same TSD or TOSD group and failed, MMU courses taken with different codes in different semesters and failed, courses taken mistakenly in excess, etc.) must be removed from the transcript by submitting the FORM-203 Course Change Petition. For this process, please contact your advisor. Graduation applications of students who have excess courses in their transcripts and do not complete the removal process will be rejected. The members of the Graduation Commission have no authority or responsibility regarding the correction of transcripts; the student advisor is the sole authority on this matter.
Graduation applications of students who declare that they have benefited from Erasmus/Farabi/Mevlana exchange programs in the system despite not having participated in these programs are rejected by the relevant unit and removed from the system. It is important to carefully read and select the options on the graduation application screen.
Graduation applications are submitted to the Graduation Commission members’ system after advisor approval. Applications that are not approved by the advisor do not appear on the Commission’s screen.
