The 2025 CiteScore data of journals indexed by Scopus has been announced. According to the data, our university achieved a significant success by ranking 11th in the Q1 publication rate among universities in Türkiye.
Our university drew attention with its qualified publication performance in the "Top 100 Universities by 2025 Scopus Q1 Publication Rate" list prepared based on Scopus SciVal data.
In the Article and Review (Article + Review) category, 262 of the university's total 396 publications were published in Q1 category journals. In this context, our university's Q1 publication rate was calculated as 66.16 percent.
Q1 Publication Rate in the Article Category is 65.71 Percent
When only the data in the Article category were considered, it was seen that 253 of KTUN's 385 publications were published in Q1 category journals. Accordingly, the Q1 publication rate of the university in this category was recorded as 65.71 percent.
The Q1 publication rate, which is one of the important indicators revealing the quality of scientific publications, expresses the success of academic studies being published in journals with a high international impact level.
Our university's ranking 11th in the list is considered an important indicator revealing the university's research-oriented academic production power and international publication performance.
In the Top 9 in Q1 and Q2
Again, when the publication rates in Q1 and Q2 journals for 2024 and 2025 prepared by Scopus are considered, KTUN ranks 9th among 208 universities with a rate of 91.3%.
KTUN continues to strengthen its research capacity and contribute to academic production with qualified scientific publications.
