Konya Technical University (KTUN) took part in the "Key Ideas Summit 2026" launch program and the cooperation protocol signing ceremony, organized under the leadership of Emlak Konut GYO to support technology-oriented transformation in the real estate and construction sectors. Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Köken attended the program held in Istanbul, representing KTUN.
In the program, which brought together universities, technoparks, TEKMERs, sector representatives, and stakeholders of the entrepreneurship ecosystem; issues related to digital transformation in the real estate and construction sectors, innovative technologies, sustainable urbanism practices, and the development of university-industry cooperation were discussed.
During the event, evaluations were made on technology-oriented projects that will shape the future of the sector, the strengthening of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and the transfer of academic knowledge to application areas. At the same time, joint working models and cooperation opportunities that could be established between universities and sector representatives were also discussed in the program.
Our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Köken, who attended the program representing KTUN, held meetings aimed at developing university-industry cooperation within the scope of his contacts. Evaluations were made on further strengthening our university's background in the fields of technology, R&D, and innovation through joint projects with stakeholder institutions.
Furthermore, within the scope of the launch program, a cooperation protocol signing ceremony was held to lay the groundwork for joint projects planned to be implemented among stakeholder institutions in the future. The program drew attention as an important organization contributing to the development of innovative ideas by bringing the sector and academia together on the same platform.
