TÜBİTAK supported eight projects of Konya Technical University (KTUN) undergraduate students as part of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program.
In this context, the following projects at Konya Technical University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences were eligible for TÜBİTAK funding: “UAV Controlled by Autonomous Body Movements” project by İrfan Samur and Yasin Türmenoğlu from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering under the supervision of faculty member Prof. Dr. Cemil Sungur; “STM Based Flight Control Card” project by Gökhan Öztürk, Muhammed Nazmi Öz and Çağla Arslantaş from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering under the supervision of faculty member Assoc. Professor Dr. Akif Durdu; STM Based Control Card for Underwater Vehicles" project by Büşra Özdeş and Ercan Ataner from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hakan Terzioğlu; "Assistant to Personal Health Monitoring" project by Bengisu Tozoğlu from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Murat Ceylan); "Detection of COVID-19 Tissues in Computerized Tomography Images" project by Aysu Bağıran and Selin Coşkun from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering under the supervision of Research Assistant Dr. Umut Özkaya; "COVID-19 Detection with Deep Learning" project by Muhammet Mücahit Bayar and Mahmut Bücük; “Obtaining Ground Penetrating Radar Images with Generative Adversarial Networks” project by Gürkan Yiğit Zeytun, Ercan Belcinergin and Osman Enes Tosun; and "Development of a Floating System for the Production of Oil/Water Separating Membranes by Chemical Vapor Deposition Method and the Use of These Membranes for the Removal of Pollutions Originated from Petroleum Products in the Sea" by Özlem Saygı and Ramazan Hoyladı from the Department of Chemical Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karaman.
