Students achieved a significant success at TEKNOFEST 2025, which was organized for the 13th time this year under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation. The students from our university made both the KTÜN family and our country proud by winning a total of 12 awards in different categories.
SUCCESS, A TRADITION AT TEKNOFEST
At TEKNOFEST, Türkiye's largest technology festival, our students made a name for themselves this year, as in previous years, with their achievements in many categories. Our students' projects stood out with their innovative ideas, original designs developed with domestic and national resources, and strong team spirit.
The RACLAB Community, which continues its work under the consultancy of our faculty member Prof. Dr. Akif Durdu from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, achieved significant rankings in the TEKNOFEST competitions.

“LYRA” ELECTRIC VEHICLE LEAVES ITS MARK ON THE FESTIVAL
One of the standout projects this year was the "Lyra" electric vehicle, developed by the ANKA Technical Community. Lyra, which was designed entirely with painstaking effort, domestic, and national resources, attracted great interest from festival visitors.
Lyra, which drew attention with its environmentally friendly technologies and original design, received widespread coverage not only at TEKNOFEST but also in the national press. This success once again demonstrated the contribution of KTÜN students to Türkiye's "National Technology Initiative" vision.
OUR RECTOR WAS TOGETHER WITH THE STUDENTS
Konya Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik did not leave the students alone throughout the festival. Rector Çelik visited the stand, took photos with the students, received information about the projects, and took a souvenir photo. In this way, the KTÜN stand gained an atmosphere that reflected both success and the university spirit.
Other university rectors, especially the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, also visited the KTÜN stand, examined the students' projects closely, wished them success, and took souvenir photos.
