Our University Ranked 12th Among State Universities in TÜMA-2025

The results of the 2025 Turkey University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA-2025), conducted by the University Research Laboratory (ÜniAr) to measure the satisfaction levels of undergraduate students across Turkey, have been announced. The survey was carried out with 50,000 students from 200 universities—126 state and 74 foundation universities. According to the results, our university achieved a remarkable success by ranking 12th in the “General Satisfaction among State Universities” category.

Prepared based on the experiences of students studying at universities in various areas—particularly academic, social, and physical facilities—TÜMA aims to reveal the student-centeredness levels of higher education institutions. Compiled from extensive student feedback, this study not only contributes to the Turkish higher education system but also provides valuable insights to guide universities in their development processes.

Our university’s achievement is regarded as a concrete indicator of its student-oriented policies and commitment to educational quality. Accordingly, our university ranked 12th among 126 state universities in the “General Satisfaction Ranking of State Universities,” surpassing many leading institutions in Turkey, and 27th among 200 universities in the “Overall University Satisfaction Ranking,” which includes both state and foundation universities. Among the universities in Konya, our university ranked first by a wide margin.

Furthermore, our university advanced three places compared to last year to rank 8th in the ‘Satisfaction with Institutional Management and Functioning’ category. It also ranked 13th in Academic Support and Concern, and 16th in the ‘Richness of Learning Opportunities and Resources’ category.

Based on the findings obtained to enhance universities’ development and responsiveness and to provide data for improvement, the TÜMA-2025 study was conducted during the 2024–2025 academic year with the participation of 200 universities that have undergraduate students, according to the Higher Education Council (YÖK) statistics. Of these universities, 126 were state universities and 74 were foundation universities.
