Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, and our Secretary General, Kamil Gök, were guests of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzMİU).
During the visit, our Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik met with Prof. Dr. Gülçöhrə Məmmədova and discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, science, entrepreneurship and international projects with AzMİU's senior management.
An online cooperation protocol between our university and AzMİU was signed on 21 January 2025. This visit was an important step towards strengthening relations and implementing concrete projects within the scope of the protocol.
Previously, in November 2024, AzMİU representatives visited our university and met with our Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Deveci, exchanging ideas on inter-university scientific cooperation and strategies for international rankings.
During the visit to Azerbaijan, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, inspected AzMİU's campus infrastructure and observed the exams being held, gaining insight into the university's operations.
It is envisaged that this cooperation between the two universities will deepen in the coming period in areas such as diploma programmes, joint research projects, and student and academic exchanges.
