The coup attempt on the night of July 15 and the epic resistance against this coup under the leadership of our President is undoubtedly a unique victory for our country as well as for the world.

July 15, as we leave behind the fifth year, is the symbol day our state's honorable struggle to protect democracy, will of the nation, country and homeland with all its institutions against the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO). This meaningful day is also the day we remember once again that Turkey is single with its flag, homeland, state and nation, indivisible and impassable, with the emphasis on "Turkey is Impenetrable", and we strengthen our unity as a nation with the love of homeland and freedom.

We must always keep the spirit of July 15th, which is a symbol for keeping our social memory alive, strengthening our democracy, remembering our martyrs and veterans, against the treacherous coup attempt against the will of the nation, and we must not forget or let us forget. As Konya Technical University, we are trying to fulfill our responsibility to our country and nation in the best way possible, with the understanding of a university where reason and ethics are carried out together with the same spirit and belief, democratic, protecting its homeland, nation and flag, focusing on producing world-class technology. We believe that no one will be able to break the unity and solidarity of this nation, which regards the love of homeland, nation and flag as sacred, as it was yesterday.

On the occasion of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day, we commemorate our heroic martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of the country with mercy, and our veterans with gratitude and respect.
