KTUN achieved a significant success by being among the universities from Turkey included in the list, with 5 academics in the "career-long impact" category and 8 academics in the "annual impact" category.
The latest list of the world's most influential scientists, compiled annually by scientists from Elsevier and Stanford University, has recently been published by Elsevier, a publishing company specialized in scientific, technical, and medical content. Accordingly, the ranking was listed in two categories: “career-long impact” and “annual impact”. In creating the list; International criteria such as the number of qualified publications, the impact of the journal in which the papers were published, the number of patents, the number of citations, h-index, hm-index, the number of articles, the number of cited articles and the impact of the journal in which they were published were used.
