The departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at our university held meetings with academics from various countries and universities as part of the 'Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility,' together with our Rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik.
Attending to our Department of Geomatics Engineering; Prof. Dr. Reiner Jäger from Karlsruhe University in Germany, attending to our Environmental Engineering Department; Aleksandar Chanachev from the Mining and Geology University in Bulgaria, Faculty members from Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University in Ukraine who have joined our Mining Engineering Department under the KA171 program include Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vasyl Mamrai, Dr. Artur Makhno, and Dr. Nina Kyrylenko and Ela Joanne Sezgin and Hira Sohail Khan, who came to us from the United States under the Fulbright ETA program, met with our rector, Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik.
The visit was also attended by our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Deveci; our General Secretary, Kamil Gök; our International Relations Institution Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muharrem Hilmi Aksoy; our Assistant Coordinator, Dr. Teslime Gökgöl; faculty members from the Department of Geomatics Engineering, including Prof. Dr. Ferruh Yıldız, Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Kahveci, and Prof. Dr. Ekrem Tuşat; as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Doğan from the Environmental Engineering Department and Dr. Hasan Ali Taner from the Mining Engineering Department.
During the dinner, our guests shared their thoughts on the city and the university, with a brief overview of our university's history and campus. After the meal, the program concluded with the presentation of certificates and gifts by our rector.
