Six new TUBITAK projects from our university, which have achieved great success together with the 7 TUBITAK 1001 projects that started this year, were considered worthy of support. With six projects prepared from six different fields including Computer, Mining, Construction, Chemistry, Electronics, Metallurgy and Materials, our University has once again revealed the difference of being a “Technical University” with six projects.
The projects carried out by Prof. Erkan Ülker from Konya Technical University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Computer Engineering, Prof. Dr. İhsan Özkan from the Department of Mining Engineering, Associate Professor Ceyhun Aksoylu of Civil Engineering Department, Inst. Dr. İsmail Cihan Kaya and Dr. Ebru Deveci rom the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Processing Technologies of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences and Inst. Mustafa Arslan from the Department of Energy were considered worthy of support.
The Projects supported by Konya Technical University within the Scope of TUBITAK were listed as follows;
By TÜBITAK Department of International Cooperation (UIDB) within the Multiple Collaboration Support Programs Prof. Dr. Erkan Ülker's project entitled Artificial Intelligence and Combined Survey Techniques for Stone Quarries Optimization- AI-COSTSQO was considered worthy of support from the European Union's ERA-Net Cofund project fund.
Within the scope of TUBITAK 1002 - the Quick Support Program Prof. Dr. İhsan Özkan's project titled Ihsan Özkan’s project titled ”Time-Dependent Deformation Behavior And Renewal Mechanism of Rock Materials Under Experimental Conditions of Uniaxial Compression, Indirect Tensile And Creep" was deemed worthy of support.
Within the scope ofTUBITAK 1002 - the Quick Support Program lecturer Ebru Deveci's research entitled "Chemical characterization of polysaccharides of four different edible mushroom species, determination of in vitro antioxidant and anti-cancer activities" was considered worthy of support.
Within the scope of TUBITAK 1002 - the Quick Support Program Instructor Mustafa Arslan's project entitled ”Development of High-Performance Anti-Dust Coatings And Their Application to Photovoltaic Panels, Study of Panel Performance in Real Environmental Conditions" was considered worthy of support.
