TUBITAK Award for Konya Technical University Project

The project titled "Waste2Fresh"which was coordinated by Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serpil Çetin Edebali from Konya Technical University (KTÜN) was deemed worthy of a success award by TÜBİTAK within the scope of "Horizon 2020".

 

 Due to the official participation of Turkey in the Horizon Europe Programme, achievement awards were given to the coordinating organizations and project coordinators at the Horizon Europe Program Opening Event, hosted by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK).

 

The project titled “Smart Innovative System for Recycling Wastewater and Creating Closed Loops in Textile Manufacturing Industrial Processes-Waste2Fresh” which was coordinated by Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serpil Çetin Edebali from Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences was deemed worthy of an award within the scope of TÜBİTAK Horizon 2020 Program.

 

The Waste2Fresh Project, which will be carried out with a team of 17 partners from 11 countries, including the companies, Erak Clothing Industry and Uludağ Environmental Technologies R&D Center from Turkey, draws attention as it is the first multi-partnered project coordinated by the Turkish organization in the field of Horizon2020 Nanotechnology, Advanced Materials, Biotechnology, Advanced Manufacturing and Processing Technologies-NMBP. The project, which has a total budget of 8.2 million Euros, will contribute approximately 2.2 million Euros to Turkey as a grant.
